By using the lithium-sulfur rechargeable battery with the sulfenyl anode and lithium metal cathode, the reversible capacity of the sulfenyl compound active material reaches 680mAh.g under 0.1C multiplying power charge-discharge condition; and compared with the discharge capacity of second circulation, the discharge capacity after 100 times of circulation decreases less than 10 percent.
