Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting palmatine and berberine in Chinese patent medicine and relates to the field of pharmaceutical analysis. The adopted principle is that active ingredient berberine and bamatine isoquinoline alkaloids have no fluorescence, and cucurbituril [7] (CB [7]) itself has no fluorescence; and however, the CB [7] can form a stable inclusion compound with the berberine and bamatine, and can allow the fluorescence sensitivity of the berberine and bamatine without fluorescence to be greatly increased and the fluorescence of a solution to be obviously enhanced. With the help of good separation ability of capillary electrophoresis, the inclusion compound formed by the berberine and bamatine and the CB [7] can also realize good separation without being influenced by other substances; and the method has good selectivity and is higher in sensitivity than an ultraviolet detection method by two orders of magnitude. The capillary electrophoresis / fluorescence analysis detection method has high sensitivity, good selectivity and strong anti-interference ability; compared with the existing capillary electrophoresis / ultraviolet analysis detection method, the method is higher by two orders of magnitude; and the method can also be used for analysis determination of the palmatine and berberine in biological samples.
