Abstract

The invention provides an AOA range finding based positioning method and device. The method comprises that a pre-estimated coordinate of a node to be positioned is obtained via a global navigation satellite system, a compass is used to obtain a pre-estimated direction angle of an antenna array, once iteration of a POG-AMP (phase-only generalized approximated message passing) positioner is combinedwith an EM algorithm to implement iteration for multiple times, and a coordinate and direction angle of the node to be positioned are determined. Equivalently, the pre-estimated coordinate and direction angle are checked and approach the real value more, and the calculated position of the node to be positioned is less deviated from the practical position.
