Embodiment Construction

[0021] Based on the law of movement and development of fault blocks in strike-slip fault zones, the following is combined with specific examples ( figure 2 ) further illustrates that the present invention recognizes the development direction of the strike-slip fault zone through the distribution pattern of the height difference along the strike-slip fault zone, but the examples do not limit the present invention in any form. Unless otherwise specified, the methods and equipment used in the present invention are conventional methods and equipment in the technical field.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for identifying the development direction of a strike-slip fault in a sedimentary basin. Aiming at the technical defects of lack of data and inability to continuously evaluate the segmental movement and development direction of strike-slip faults in sedimentary basins, the present invention proposes a method for judging the movement direction of strike-slip faults in basins. On the basis of seismic geological horizon and fault interpretation, the invention measures the height difference of uplift and downfall in different sections along the strike-slip fault, and judges the movement direction of each fault block through the height difference change trend model , and then comprehensively judge the development direction of strike-slip faults. The invention provides a method for identifying the development direction of strike-slip faults in sedimentary basins, which is suitable for connecting large-scale strike-slip fault zones and local sections in sedimentary basins where the growth mechanism is the main mechanism, and is a method for the growth evolution and segmentation of strike-slip faults. Evaluation provides technical means.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the evaluation technical field of structural geology and oil and gas exploration and development. More specifically, it involves a method for identifying the development direction of strike-slip faults in sedimentary basins. Background technique [0002] Faults are a type of structure widely developed in the earth's crust, and are closely related to the evolution of earth structure, earthquake mechanism, oil and gas and mineral distribution, etc. It has attracted much attention and is a hot and difficult point in the applied research of earth science and engineering. Faults in oil and gas basins play an important role in controlling the whole process of oil and gas generation and displacement, trapping, accumulation and adjustment and preservation (Leighton et al., 1990; Macqueen and Lekie, 1992; Caine et al., 1996; Zhang Shulin et al. , 1997; Aydin, 2000; Luo Qun et al., 2007). The types of faults can be divided into three ...
