According to the method, a to-be-evaluated audio file sent by a client is received; feature information of the to-be-evaluated audio file is extracted; the feature information is input into a preset speech evaluation model for phoneme evaluation, and a GOP value of each phoneme in the to-be-evaluated audio file is obtained; based on the GOP value of each phoneme, a phoneme score of each phoneme, a word score of each word and a statement core of each statement in the to-be-evaluated audio file are determined; and each phoneme core,each word score and each statement score are fed back to the client, so that the client displays the phoneme cores, the word scores and the statement scores in a preset form. According to the scheme,the to-be-evaluated audio file is simplified, the obtained feature information is input into the pre-trained speech evaluation model for evaluation to obtain the GOP value of each phoneme, and therefore the phoneme scores, the word scores and the statement scores in the to-be-evaluated audio file are determined; and a student is assisted in understanding whether his / her pronunciation is standardor not, and the oral competence and pronunciation accuracy of the student are improved.
