[0132] All patients in this study underwent radical nephrectomy for ccRCC as the first therapeutic intervention between November 2014 and April 2015 at the Department of Urology at Saint-Louis Hospital (Paris, France). Median tumor size was 50 mm (range 35 to 175). According to the 2010 TNM classification of primary tumors, these tumors were classified as pT1a (patient 6), pT1b (patients 1, 3, and 8), and pT3a (patients 2, 4, 5, and 7). Two patients (patients 2 and 4) developed visceral metastases. Experienced uropathologists classified all these renal tumors as ccRCC according to the World Health Organization classification of renal tumors [8]. All patients participating in this study gave free and informed written consent. The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Paris Saint-Louis Hospital.
