Problems solved by technology

Due to the poor cooperation of autistic patients (especially children with autism) and generally large signal artifacts, this problem is particularly prominent; (2) The selection of reference electrodes in EEG signal analysis is still a very controversial issue (3) Due to the existence of volume conduction effect, the spatial resolution of EEG signal is poor

Embodiment

[0032] This example is divided into five steps, which are resting state EEG signal acquisition, data preprocessing, source location analysis, signal spatiotemporal feature analysis, and statistical analysis.

[0033] The first step is to collect resting-state EEG signals.

[0034] In a room with sound and electromagnetic shielding functions, preferably, the 128-lead EEG system produced by EGI Company of the United States is used for resting state EEG signal acquisition, wherein the reference electrode is selected from Cz, and the resistance of all electrodes is less than 40kΩ. 500Hz.

[0035] The second step is data preprocessing.

[0036]Use the program to preprocess the obtained image data to prepare for the subsequent feature extraction and data analysis, including the following steps: (1) use 0.1-100Hz band-pass filter for the original EEG signal; (2) remove the large drift (3) Spherical spline interpolation algorithm is used for interpolation for channels with larger ar...

Abstract

The invention provides an analysis method for electroencephalogram signals of children with autism spectrum disorder. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, collecting resting-state electroencephalogram signals by using a multi-lead electroencephalogram system; step 2, preprocessing obtained image data; step 3, calculating source activity of intracranial cerebral cortex based on electroencephalogram signals recorded by scalp electrodes by adopting an accurate low-resolution electroencephalogram tomography technology so as to obtain current density time sequences of 84 ROI regions; step 4, performing spatial-temporal feature analysis on the current density time sequences of each subject, each frequency band and each ROI to obtain spatial-temporal characteristic parameters beta; and step 5, detecting whether the spatial-temporal characteristic parameters beta of tested children with autism spectrum disorder and tested normal children have significant inter-group difference ornot. According to the analysis method for the electroencephalogram signals of the children with the autism spectrum disorder, electroencephalogram spatial-temporal characteristic parameters which facilitate the diagnosis of the children with the autism spectrum disorder can be obtained, and medical workers are assisted in completing preliminary diagnosis of the children with the autism spectrum disorder.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an analysis method for EEG signals of children with autism spectrum disorder, and belongs to the technical field of brain image data analysis. Background technique [0002] Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a collective term for a series of neurodevelopmental disorders. Autism was first discovered and named by American doctor Kanner in 1946. According to the definition of "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5)" published by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) in 2013, suffering from this Patients with the disorder are often characterized by impairments in social interaction and communication, narrow interests, and stereotyped behaviors, with impairment in social interaction being a core feature. [0003] Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is widely used to study the neural mechanisms of ASD, but fMRI technology also has certain limitations. For example, the environment ...
