Problems solved by technology

[0005] (1) The pore wall of foam ceramics is a hollow structure with low strength. After a large amount of high-temperature liquid iron thermal shock, it is easy to break and drop slag. Once the slag enters the casting, it will cause the entire large casting to be scrapped.
[0006] (2) Since the pores of foamed ceramics are all three-dimensional curved channels, their filtration efficiency is extremely low, and too long casting time will directly affect the solidification quality of large castings
[0007] (3) Due to the long casting time, the temperature drop of molten iron will be serious, resulting in partial solidification of molten iron and blocking the filter channel, resulting in the suspension of the casting process

Embodiment 1

[0027] In this embodiment, tabular corundum, YSZ and flake graphite are selected as the main raw materials of the ceramic base, and the mass ratio is 8.5:0.5:1 for batching. And after adding 5% phenolic resin as a binding agent, 10% starch as a pore-forming agent and 1% glycerin as an organic plasticizer, the mixture is mixed. The method of compression molding is adopted for compression molding, and the compression force is controlled at 100MPa. Embedding the formed honeycomb ceramics in graphite powder for high-temperature firing molding, the firing temperature is 1250°C, and the firing time is 3 hours. The honeycomb ceramics to be fired and molded are placed on the top of the casting mold, and a stable external DC electric field is applied to the honeycomb ceramics, and the current is controlled at 50A. After that, the molten steel is gradually poured into the mold for casting and condensation, and finally a steel ingot is obtained.

[0032] In this embodiment, fused corundum, YSZ and flake graphite are selected as the main raw materials of the ceramic base, and the mass ratio is 8.5:0.5:1 for batching. And adding 5% phenolic resin as a binder, 10% starch and carbon fiber 1:1 as a pore-forming agent, and 1.5% glycerin as an organic plasticizer before mixing. The method of compression molding is adopted for compression molding, and the compression force is controlled at 120MPa. Embedding the formed honeycomb ceramics in graphite powder for high-temperature firing molding, the firing temperature is 1250°C, and the firing time is 3 hours. The honeycomb ceramics to be fired and molded are placed on the top of the casting mold, and a stable external DC electric field is applied to the honeycomb ceramics, and the current is controlled at 100A. Abstract

The invention relates to the field of adsorption and filtration of inclusions in steel, in particular to a method for filtering out inclusions in steel through honeycomb ceramic under the action of an external electric field. According to the method, an aluminum-carbon honeycomb ceramic material is used as a body, the stable external electric field is applied to the honeycomb ceramic material in the filtering and purifying process, and finally the aim of purifying molten steel is achieved. The method specifically comprises the following steps of (1) honeycomb ceramic preparation, (2) honeycomb ceramic sintering and molding and (3) external electric field enhanced filtration. By utilizing the method, the adsorption capacity of the inclusions in the steel is improved, a new surface with high adsorption capacity and more new fine micropore and mesoporous structures are constructed on the outer surface of the honeycomb ceramic, finally the honeycomb ceramic structure is further strengthened and stabilized, meanwhile, the adsorption and filtering performance of the honeycomb ceramic to the inclusions in the steel is improved again, and molten steel is cleaned.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of adsorption and filtration of inclusions in steel, in particular to a method for filtering inclusions in steel by honeycomb ceramics under the action of an external electric field. Background technique [0002] Based on the particularity of the volume and quality requirements of large iron castings and steel castings, their local defects will make the whole casting scrapped, resulting in a low yield rate. Among them, more than half of the causes of failure are caused by inclusions. Therefore, how to reduce and remove inclusions in large castings is an important task in the metallurgical process, and it is also the research focus of metallurgists in recent years. [0003] To produce large castings of excellent quality, the first issue must be to obtain a clean metal melt. Although many inclusion removal technologies used in the smelting process have been developed, such as gas stirring, slag washing, vacuum treatme...
