Abstract

The invention relates to a method for a user equipment operating on a first base node of a cellular network, the first base node communicatively coupled to two core networks of the cellular network, the user equipment operating in an open data exchange session by means of a data exchange context terminated in a selected one of the two core networks, the user equipment also maintains a first device identity received from said selected core network, the method comprising the following steps for the user equipment:-identifying at least one second base node of said cellular network,-checking whether said at least one second base node is able to access the selected core network,-if not,-determining that the at least one second base node is able to access the selected core network.
