Embodiment Construction

[0028] figure 2 is a system block diagram of an error handling device according to an embodiment of the present invention. The error processing device 200 is used for decoding data, the data includes a group of pictures, and the group of pictures includes multiple frames of related pictures. These images are related to each other during encoding and are classified into different types according to their related characteristics. The type of the picture includes a picture that needs to be referenced for decoding other pictures and a picture that does not need to be referenced for decoding other pictures.

[0029] The device 200 comprises a detection device 210, a determination device 220 and a processing device. The device 200 may also optionally include a creating device 240 .

[0030] The device 200 can be a part of a decoder (not shown in the figure), wherein some functions of the device can be implemented by software. For those skilled in the art, the above-mentioned de...

Abstract

This invention relates to a mistake processing method and device, used for decoding data, wherein the data comprises an image group, and the image group comprises several associated images. The method comprises the following steps: a) checking if the received image group is continuous; b) if it is not continuous, making sure the type of the lost image; c) processing the image group according to the type and the corresponding correct rule. The type of the image comprises the image which needs to be consulted or not to be consulted when decoding other image. By said invention, it can decode even the image head information is lost.

Description

technical background [0001] The present invention relates to a decoding method and device for coded data, in particular to a decoding method and device for coded image data. [0002] The MPEG (Moving Picture Expert Group) standard provides a technical solution for compressing / encoding digital video signals. This scheme adopts the predictive coding technology, correlates each frame of pictures in the original data to be coded, and determines the corresponding picture type of each frame of pictures according to its correlation characteristics. [0003] There are generally three types of video image frames in the MPEG standard, namely I frames, P frames and B frames. An I frame is an intraframe coded image, and the frame image is coded using only its own information when coding. A P frame is a predictive (interframe forward-direction predictive) coded image, which is coded using motion compensation prediction based on the previously coded I frame or P frame. A B frame is a bid...
