Problems solved by technology

[0018] However, even in the computer and machine industry, it is stated that parallel operation of fans does not provide ideal results except in cases of low system resistance where the fans are nearly free-flowing.

Embodiment Construction

[0035] The present invention relates to the fan section of a fan array in an air conditioning system. Such as Figures 2 to 1 1, the fan array fan section of the air conditioning system uses a plurality of individual single fan units 200. In a preferred embodiment, the fan unit 200 is configured in a real array (true array) ( Figure 3-7 ) settings, but alternative embodiments may include, for example, optional structures such as spaced patterns (spacedpattern) ( Figure 8 ), the spatial pattern array structure ( Figure 9 ), the rows are slightly offset from the array structure (Figure 10), or the staggered array structure (Figure 11). The term "array" is intended to be broad as the invention may be practiced with real arrays and / or alternative arrays.

[0036] The fan units 200 in the fan array of the present invention may be spaced apart by 20% of the fan wheel diameter. Ideal operating conditions for arrays set up close together are a distance of 30% to 60% of the fan...

Abstract

A fan part of fan arrays in an air-conditioning system comprises a plurality of fan units (200) which are arranged in the fan arrays and an air conditioning room (202). A preferred embodiment comprises an array controller (300) and is programmed to run the plurality of fan units under approximate peak efficiency. The plurality of fan units (200) can be arranged in a real array structure, a spatial pattern array structure, a checkerboard array structure, a row-slightly-deviating array structure, a column-slightly-deviating array structure or a staggered array structure.

Description

[0001] Applicant Huntel Corporation files this international application. This application claims the benefit of USC 119(e) of US Provisional Application 60 / 456,413 filed March 20,2003. This application is based on and claims priority from the above-mentioned application, which is hereby incorporated by reference. technical field [0002] This invention relates to fan array fan sections for use in air conditioning systems. Background technique [0003] Air conditioning systems (also called air conditioners) are traditionally used to condition buildings or rooms (also called "buildings"). An air conditioning system is defined as a structure comprising components designed to work together to condition the air as part of the primary system used to ventilate the structure. Air conditioning systems may include, for example, cooling coils, heating coils, filters, humidifiers, fans, sound dampeners, controls, and other devices to meet structural needs. The air conditioning syste...
