Background technique [0002] Plate heat exchangers are well known and generally comprise a plurality of stacked, flat, metallic heat exchange plates. The plates are supported in generally parallel, vertical orientations between a base plate and a pressure plate by means of a lower elongated support member and an upper elongated guide member.
