The crude drug is put into an earthenware pot and is soaked by adding proper water; the earthenware pot is firstly decocted to boil by strong fire, and then decocted by aoft fire for half an hour. The liquid medicine is filtered, and proper water is added into dregs and decocted for half an hour; then the medicine liquid is filtered again. Liquid medicine obtained from the two steps is mixed together and cooled. The medicine is taken half an hour before breakfast and two hours after supper respectively.By taking the medicine for half a month, the medicine can clear heat and toxic material, promote digestion, remove food retention and flatulence, alleviate pain, harmonize intestine-stomach, elevate the spleen yang, eliminate dampness and tonify spleen for nourishing qi.
