Under the operation of the actuator 1 , supported by the electric motor 4 , the two stabilizer parts 3 can be selectively twisted relative to each other to one or the other direction of rotation.

Abstract

The invention relates to a roll stabilizer for the chassis of a motor vehicle, which roll stabilizer actively counteracts rolling of the body of the motor vehicle, wherein an actuator (1) for adjusting a stabilizer element (2) is provided with an electric motor (4), and wherein an adjusting signal (S3) for the actuator (1) is generated from a rotational angle signal (S1) of the electric motor (4) and a position signal (S2) which indicates a position of the stabilizer element (2).
