Abstract

The invention is applicable to the field of image processing techniques, which provides an image fusion processing method at pixel level and a device thereof. The method of the invention comprises thefollowing steps that each component of a pixel-dot vector of a multi-component image is mapped into the force distributed on the periphery of a unit circle; a radial direction H of equivalent force of resultant moment of the center of the unit circle is calculated, and the equivalent force is corresponding to the component of the pixel-dot vector; degree of unbalancedness S of distribution of moment of force on the periphery of the unit circle is calculated, and the force is corresponding to the component of the pixel-dot vector; average strength V of force corresponding to the component of the pixel-dot vector is calculated; the calculated H, S and V are respectively mapped into the values of hue, saturation and intensity, and the mapped values of hue, saturation and intensity are respectively converted into R, G and B color vector of RGB-tricolor space. The method and the device of the invention realize that the multi component image is capable of being fused into a color image withthree components at pixel level by adopting a non-statistic technology, thus solving the problem of ignoring multi component pixel-dot information that is in a disadvantage position statistically ina fusion process of statistic fusion technology.
