Abstract

The invention discloses a separator and a water purification method. The separator of the invention comprises a baffle, a filter element, a water supply device and a vacuum water suction device, wherein the filter element is positioned in the sealed baffle; an annular space is reserved between the baffle and filter cloth of the filter element; the water supply device is connected with the baffle;and the vacuum water suction device is connected with the filter element. The water purification method of the invention comprises the following steps that: liquid to be filtered moves around the filter cloth of the filter element in the sealed baffle and presses the filter cloth; clear solution penetrates the filter cloth to enter the filter element; and at the same time, the clear solution in the filter element is sucked under vacuum to keep a certain vacuum degree in the filter element. In the method, a positive and negative theory is adopted to perform filtering separation; impurities withweight exceeding a certain value quickly flows with the liquid to be filtered and are discharged out of the separator and part of the impurities can gradually settle into a circulatory pool; and light and fine suspended substances can form a relatively stable filterable membrane on the surface of the filter element to achieve the micro-filtration and ultra-filtration effects of membrane filtration.
