Abstract

The load bearing device of the invention comprises a bracket which is pre-installed on the upper surface of the top of a hatch coaming during an indoors assembling process; an elastic pad which is installed in the bracket to reduce the impact on the hatch cover; a pad plate which is arranged on the elastic pad to adjust the height of the load bearing device; and a bearing pad which is arranged on the pad plate. The load bearing device further comprises a matching plate which is connected with the lower surface of the hatch cover and is in frictional contact with the bearing pad; and a locking lever that is inserted into the bearing pad through the bracket so as to maintain the bearing pad, the pad plate and the elastic pad into the bracket.
