A deck ascent and descent type worktable ship comprises a platform body, and a plurality of columns which causes the platform body to ascend and descend randomly by means of an oil jack jacking system. The deck of the platform body is provided with an erecting device which causes a single pile or tower integrated windmill to form a support movably on the deck of the platform body. Furthermore the single pile or tower integrated windmill can be randomly lifted from a falling-over state or an inclination falling-over state. The erecting device comprises a base frame and a supporting guide frame. The base frame can randomly move on a guide rail which is laid on the deck of the platform body. The supporting guide frame is supported by the base frame through a bracket according to a mode of lifting randomly. Furthermore the single pile or tower integrated windmill can be detached randomly. At severe sea and weather conditions of outer sea, the on-sea wind power generating devices such as the single pile or tower integrated windmill can be loaded, conveyed and lifted, thereby providing the deck ascent and descent type worktable ship which has the following advantages: high operation efficiency, high stability and high safety.

In certain embodiments, the underlayment may have a weight less than approximately 7.8 kg / m2 (1.6 lb / ft2) when applied at a nominal thickness of 0.635 cm (0.25) inches. Moreover, the underlayment may be designed to conform to the SOLAS requirements administered by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Specifically, the underlayment may be designed to conform to IMO Resolution MSC.61(67).

Multi-hull platform boat

In a first aspect, a multi-hull platform boat comprises an upper deck or platform that is secured to a plurality of longitudinally extending hulls via a plurality of corresponding longitudinally extending connectors. Each connector extends from the bottom of the platform above a corresponding hull. The platform is constructed with a continuous uninterrupted planar lower support spanning the area between the connectors. The lower support is preferably made from one or more moldable materials and may be covered with a finish coating. In a second aspect, a multi-hull platform boat has a platform with a relatively planar upper support surface and a wedge-shaped base extending from the upper support surface of the platform to the bottom of the hulls. The base is wedge-shaped such that it increases in height from the front to the rear of the boat.

Method for Treating Wood and Wood-Based Materials, and Wood and Wood-Based Materials Obtainable Therewith

The present application relates to a method for treating wood and wood-based materials for enhancing dimensional stability and surface properties and also for preventing cracking and extending durability. More specifically the invention for the treatment of wood and wood-based materials is directed to a method wherein the wood or wood-based material is subjected to a thermal treatment and the wood or wood-based material is at least partly impregnated with a melamine-containing resin. Subsequently the wood or wood-based material thus impregnated is cured with hot steam at not more than 125° C. preferably up to a maximum of 120° C. In a further aspect the present application includes the thermally treated wood or wood-based material, impregnated with melamine resin and cured, that is obtainable from the method of the invention. The present invention lastly provides for the use of melamine-containing resin for impregnating wood and wood-based materials which are or have been thermally modified, for the purpose of increasing the hardness and reducing the dimensional change through thermal modification. The material produced in accordance with the invention can be used as a substitute for teak.
