The invention relates to a theft preventing bolt spanner which comprises a cylinder, wherein a plane of the cylinder is provided with a spherical counter bore; more than two convex edges are arrangedon the spherical surface of the counter bore at equal intervals; the spherical counter bore of the bolt spanner is matched with a bolt head, and the convex edges on the spherical counter bore are matched with clamping grooves arranged on a bolt head so as to wrench a bolt. Particularly, when the clamping grooves arranged on the bolt head are all clockwise or anticlockwise, the bolt is tightly wrenched without easily being wrenched again, thereby playing a role of theft prevention.
