Abstract

The invention discloses a method, a device and a network device for processing memory alarm. The method comprises the step that when an LDP module in network switching equipment receives an announcement that a system memory of the network switching equipment is in the alarm state, the LDP module keeps forwarding of a multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) service on a currently existing label switched path (LSP) and stops generating a novel LSP. In the embodiment of the invention, when the network device is in the system memory alarm state, the LDP module keeps forwarding of the MPLS service onthe currently existing LSP and stops related processes of generating the novel LSP, so that when in the system memory state, the network device can keep forwarding of the MPLS service on the existingLSP and simultaneously as the novel LSP is not generated, the burden of the system memory cannot be increased on the basis of the conventional memory consumption.
