Corresponding to half of the 100% depth of discharge, the discharge curve is consistent with the discharge curve 5 hours before the 100% discharge depth check discharge, and the discharge termination condition corresponds to the remaining capacity of 80% of the rated capacity (C 10 ), so the final determination of the capacity of the battery pack under test is based on the unified provisions of the current standards and specifications, that is, "when the termination voltage reaches 1.8V, the remaining capacity shall not be less than 80% of the rated capacity (C 10 )".

Abstract

The invention relates to a 50 percent discharge capacity test method for a valve-controlled type sealed lead acid storage battery, which belongs to an online discharge test method for a lead acid storage battery for power engineering. The method comprises the following steps of: connecting protecting devices at both ends of an outlet fuse protector of an estimated storage battery pack in parallel and switching off the fuse protector so that the protecting devices is connected in series in a power supply loop from a storage battery to a direct current bus; carrying out online 50 percent discharge capacity test on the storage battery pack by adopting a storage battery discharge test instrument; carrying out checking discharge by adopting a 10-hour rate discharge current to discharging for 5 hours; when the discharge time reaches 5 hours, and the voltage of any battery end is not smaller than 1.95V, stopping the discharge test and restoring the charge to the storage battery pack; otherwise, carrying out deep activation according to a relevant standard specification, repeating the test twice and confirming whether the residual capacity of the storage battery pack is not smaller than 80 percent C10 or not. The method is simple, visual and effective and can ensure that the power supply of the tested storage battery pack on equipment is not interrupted in the whole process of the test.
