Artificial intraspecific hybridization, seeding, sowing, seedling reculturing, transplanting and cultivation are carried out to primula denticulatessp. sinodenticulata balf.f.et forr.)W.W.smith from Southern Yunnan which serves as a female parent and primula denticulatessp. sinodenticulata balf.f.et forr.)W.W.smith from Lijiang which serves as a male parent. A single plant which has green leaves, robust growth, light pink flowers, white middle part, yellow crown throat, one head-shaped inflorescence, strong scape, large inflorescence, fragrance and a flowering phase of 2 to 3 months is selected from an F1 generation, and then pollinated, seed collected, planted and screened. An individual which has light pink flowers, white middle part, yellow crown throat, one head-shaped inflorescence, 34 to 79 flowers in each inflorescence, the single flower corolla diameter of 1.1 to 1.4cm, the inflorescence diameter of 3.3 to 4.1cm, the scape height of 11 to 28cm, fragrance and the flowering phase of 2 to 3 months is selected from a cultivated F2 generation as the novel variety of 'Beautiful Xiangfei'.
