Problems solved by technology

[0005] The purpose of the present invention is to overcome the deficiencies of the prior art and provide a soil-conserving, water-saving and tree-planting method suitable for gravel land in dry and hot areas. This method not only effectively solves the problems of lack of soil in gravel land and easy infiltration of water , and alleviate the evaporation of water, which can not only improve the survival rate of tree planting on gravel land in dry and hot areas, but also reduce the cost of tree planting

Embodiment Construction

[0032] Below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, the soil-conserving, water-saving, and tree-planting method for gravel land in hot and dry regions of the present invention will be further described through embodiments.

[0033] This embodiment is an experiment of planting new Leucaena juncea in the gravel slope of the dry-hot valley of the Jinsha River by live broadcasting. The operation steps are as follows:

[0034] ① Prepare an open soil container 1 and an open water storage container 3 with the opening upward. The soil container 1 is a plastic container with an inner diameter of about 30 cm and a height of about 25 cm. Its wall thickness is about 0.1 mm, and there are several seepage holes distributed on the wall 2 (see figure 1 ), the water storage container 3 is a plastic bag with an inner diameter of 36cm to 40cm and a height of 30cm to 35cm, and the thickness of the plastic film making the plastic bag is about 0.05mm (see figure 2 ).

Abstract

The invention relates to a soil-retaining water-saving method for planting trees in a gravel land in a dry and hot area. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) preparing an open-type water storage container and an open-type soil-filling container which are respectively provided with an upward opening, wherein a plurality of water seepage holes are arranged on the wall of the soil-filling container; (2) digging a tree-plating pit on the gravel land; (3) putting the water storage container in the tree-plating pit; (4) filling the soil-filling container with soil, directly sowing a plant seed in the soil of the soil-filling container or transplanting the plant seed in the soil-filling container and filling the soil-filling container with soil; (5) putting the soil-filling container with the planted or the transplanted tree seed in the water storage container, then, filling a circular space between the soil-filling container and the water storage container with supporting substances and filling gravel around the water storage container for fixation, wherein water storage gaps are formed among the supporting substances; (6) pouring water in the circular space between the soil-filling container and the water storage container and seeping the water in the soil of the soil-filling container through the water seepage holes arranged on the wall of the soil-filling container; and (7) carrying out subsequent management, i.e. pouring water or fertilizer in the circular space between the soil-filling container and the water storage container.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the fields of vegetation reconstruction and water and soil resource protection, and particularly relates to a method for planting trees on gravel land in dry and hot areas. Background technique [0002] In hot and dry areas, the solar radiation is strong, the temperature is high, and the evaporation of water is large. The gravel land lacks soil and water, and the gravel content can reach 50-100%. Taking the dry-hot valley of the Jinsha River as an example, the annual rainfall is about 800 mm, and the annual evaporation is more than 2200 mm. The soil erosion is very serious, and steep gravel land is formed on both sides of the "V"-shaped valley. Therefore, not only natural vegetation is difficult to grow on gravel land in hot and dry areas, but also artificial vegetation is extremely difficult to survive. [0003] The prior art discloses a variety of afforestation methods used in arid areas, but mainly aimed at desert areas. F...
