Abstract

Provided is a toilet device which is characterized by comprising a stool including a bowl, a recess formed in an upper face and communicating with the bowl, and a communicating portion for affording communications between the bowl and the recess. The toilet device further comprises a casing disposed over the stool, a seat hinged to open and close freely with respect to the casing, a washing nozzle arranged at least partially in the recess for moving into and out of the inside of the bowl through the communicating portion, and a shutter hinged turnably on the casing, for opening the communicating portion when the washing nozzle advances and for closing the communicating portion when the washing nozzle retracts.
