Abstract

The invention discloses a double-frequency English letter type dipole antenna, relates to a dipole antenna, and provides the double-frequency English letter type dipole antenna which works at an ultra high frequency (UHF) range of a radio frequency identification device (RFID), has the frequency of 940 to 960 MHz, high applicability, low return loss and omnidirectional radiation characteristic. The antenna is provided with a substrate; and a copper-plated layer is arranged on one side of the substrate and is an aerial radiation sheet consisting of English letters. The antenna has a small size and good radiation characteristic, and the double-frequency working band comprises a first working frequency range and a second working frequency range, wherein the first working frequency range is between 940 and 1,000 MHz and the absolute bandwidth is 60 MHz; and the second working frequency range is between 2.43 and 2.46 GHz and the absolute bandwidth is 30 MHz. The size of the antenna is 75 percent of that of the conventional dipole antenna, and the physical dimension of an RFID antenna is reduced to a certain extent. The antenna also has the advantages of simple structure and manufacturing process, low cost, excellent omnidirectional radiation characteristic and the like, is easy to integrate and can fully meet the specific requirements on the antenna in an RFID application system.
