The invention discloses a novel GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) derivative. The molecular structural formula of the derivative is cGLP-1(7-38), namely, Seq ID No.3, wherein, Xaa2 is any one of amino acids such as Gly, Thr and Val. The derivative is prepared by a recombinant DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) technology and has a half-life period which is longer than that of GLP-1; and the derivative is suitable for serving as an active ingredient for preparing a medicament for treating diabetes.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of bioengineering, and relates to a GLP-1 derivative with GLP-1 activity and its preparation and application. Background technique [0002] Diabetes is a worldwide disease with rapid development and great harm to human beings. In 2007, about 246 million people worldwide suffered from diabetes, and it is estimated that by 2025, the number of diabetic patients worldwide will increase to 380 million. According to a survey conducted by the Chinese Medical Association in 2007, the prevalence of diabetes among people over 20 years old in cities and towns in my country is about 10%, and the age of patients is also showing a trend of younger age. Among diabetic patients, nearly 90% of them are type 2 diabetes, which cannot be treated with insulin alone. With the rapid increase of diabetic patients, the cost of treatment and related complications has also increased dramatically, which has brought huge labor losses ...
