Abstract

The invention discloses a liniment for analgesia and detumescence and a preparation method thereof. The liniment consists of the following crude materials in portions by weight: 10-20 portions of evergreen mucuna stem, 5-15 portions of monkshood, 5-15 portions of artemisia rupestris and 5-15 portions of dactylicapnos rood. The preparation method comprises the steps of: immersing the four types ofcrude materials with 50 % ethanol in a proper amount three times for 7 days each time; mixing and filtering immersion liquor; adding 50 % ethanol to the filtrate till 1000 portions are obtained, mixing evenly, standing and filtering to prepare the liniment. The liniment has obvious effects on relieving pain, reducing swelling, dispelling wind and eliminating dampness as well as has low cost and no side effect.
