Abstract

The invention provides a method for providing information and requesting information through Internet. The information providing method comprises the following steps of: utilizing a web spider program to download a webpage in a predetermined range and analyzing web data according to a predetermined rule; extracting information of at least one object and calculating a score value of the object according to at least one of content correlation degree, a rank, a page view, an official grading value and a user voting value; searching a structural object with an extracted object name from an object database for storing a plurality of the structural objects; if the corresponding structural object is not searched, establishing the structural object by using the extracted object information and the calculated score value; and writing the constructed structural object into the object database; when receiving prompting requesting information containing an inquiring character string from a user, extracting and inquiring the structural object corresponding to the inquiring character string from the object database; and constructing and sending the prompting requesting information which contains the corresponding information of the structural object.
