The PAL video signal generation device comprises a computer and the arbitrary waveform generator, wherein the computer generates PAL video digital waveform signals which are stored in the arbitrary waveform generator, and the arbitrary waveform generator converts the stored PAL video digital waveform signals to PAL video simulation waveform signals and then outputs the PAL video simulation waveform signals. According to the PAL video signal generation device, red / blue / green (RBG) value of image pixels is obtained by aid of the computer image processing technology, luma and chroma (YUV) value of the pixels is obtained through conversion, PAL video signal waveform is formed by using the YUV value as input of the software algorithm, and PAL video signals are output through the arbitrary waveform generator.
