Abstract

According to an embodiment, a video display device, a video display method and a computer program product are provided. The video display device comprises a camera, a display, a first display module, a detector, a calculator and a second display module. The camera shoots an image. The display displays the image. The first display module displays a predetermined pattern based on predetermined display coordinates on the display. The detector detects the coordinates of a mirror image on a camera image. The camera image is obtained by shooting an image of a pattern in a mirror via the camera. The calculator calculates a correction factor for correcting the display coordinates of the camera image on the display, based on the relative position relationship between the display coordinates of the pattern and the coordinates of the mirror image. The second display module corrects the display coordinates of the camera image by means of the correction factor and displays the camera image on the display.
