Abstract

The invention provides an integrated charger of a mobile terminal and a method for charging the mobile terminal. By the invention, charging steps are simplified, and the mobile terminal can be conveniently charged by a user. The integrated charger comprises an alternating current to direct current conversion module, a trigger switch, a charging module, a charging control module, a changeover switch and a universal serial bus (USB) socket, wherein the alternating current to direct current conversion module is used for converting commercial power alternating current into direct current and then outputting the direct current; the trigger switch is used for controlling the switch-on and switch-off of a charging loop; the charging module is used for charging a battery of the mobile terminal when the trigger switch is turned on; the charging control module is used for inputting the direct current which is output by the alternating current to direct current conversion module to a charging pin of the charging module when the trigger switch is turned on; the changeover switch is used for inputting the direct current which is output by the alternating current to direct current conversion module to the USB socket when the trigger switch is turned off; and the USB socket is used for outputting the direct current which is output by the alternating current to direct current conversion module to the mobile terminal when the trigger switch is turned off.
