This invention discloses a
refractory spraying
system and method for tundishes. The
system includes guide rail modules laid along three
tundish workstations, a work machinery unit equipped with a six-degree-of-freedom
robotic arm, a lifting drive mechanism, modular work components integrating electrical and pneumatic connection modules, a quick-change material box, and a central
control system. The six-degree-of-freedom
robotic arm's
range of motion can cover the entire area inside the
tundish. The work method adopts a three-
station continuous operation mode, precisely matching the
process time of
refractory spraying and
drying. It can also switch between high-speed and low-speed spraying
modes to adapt to different
tundish wall temperatures and is equipped with a standardized construction process. This invention achieves no
idle time for the work machinery, improves construction efficiency and spraying quality, eliminates blind spots in construction operations, has a high degree of
automation throughout the process, low equipment maintenance costs, strong
system versatility, and can adapt to the needs of industrialized batch construction.
