The invention relates to a novel steam airship; the traditional airship is inflated with
helium gas or other gases (mainly is the
helium gas) which are lighter than the air to lead the airship to generate lifting power to realize
takeoff; the airship can be controlled to rise and fall by charging air in or drawing-off air from a balloonet; the characteristics lead the production of the airship to completely depend on the supply of the
helium gas, while the
helium gas is rare strategic resource, has little yield and comparatively high price, so that the needs of
mass production and using of the airship can not be satisfied; the
helium gas needs a great deal of special equipment for matching, and the equipment comprise transportation, cooling, storage, purifying devices and the like; related professional skill staff need to be provided, and the using cost is high, so that the using scope is limited; meanwhile, the airship needs to be highly sealed when the
helium gas is adopted, and high requirements are available to the manufacturing materials and technique of the airship, thus the traditional airship using the helium gas has high manufacturing and using costs, is difficult to maintain, can not be produced in large amount for use, limits the development of the advantages of the airship and urgently needs to be replaced by novel technology. The novel steam airship keeps the advantages of the traditional airship and simultaneously overcomes the dependence on the helium gas.
Stream is used as blanketing gas of the airship, and water is transformed into high temperature vapor to be filled into an
air chamber; meanwhile, the temperature of the vapor is maintained
on the fly; as the density of the high temperature vapor is far less than that of the air, steam airship can take off and fly in the way being the same as the airship using the helium gas.
