The introduction of iron doped carbon quantum dots greatly strengthens the catalytic performance of titanium dioxide in the presence of visible light. After 180 minutes of irradiation of visible light, the degradation rate of formaldehyde (3-30 mg/L) is increased to 85% or more, compared with 40% (titanium dioxide is taken as the catalyst).
