Abstract

The light shielding layer has multiple open areas corresponding to the pixel areas. Each first pixel electrode comprises multiple strip-shaped first pixel electrode patterns. Each second pixel electrode comprises multiple strip-shaped second pixel electrode patterns. Each open area comprises multiple sub areas. Each strip-shaped first pixel electrode pattern and each adjacent strip-shaped second pixel electrode pattern in each sub area are spaced by an electrode gap. The electrode gaps of different sub areas are different. The area of the sub areas with the electrode gap smaller than or equal to 12 micrometers accounts for less than 35% of the area of each open area. The area of the sub areas with the electrode gap greater than 12 micrometers accounts for higher than 65% of the area of each open area.
