Embodiment Construction

[0076] figure 1 A stroller 1 is shown in which an embodiment of the device for supporting a child according to the invention is applied. The stroller 1 includes a bottom bracket 2 and an upper bracket 3 . The bottom bracket 2 comprises a first arm 4 and a second arm 5 which are linked by a cross link 6 and another cross link 7 . The first arm 4 and the second arm 5 comprise a first coupling housing 8 and a second coupling housing 9, respectively. The first elongated part 10 of the cross link 6 is pivotally connected to the first coupling housing 8 so that this part can rotate in the plane of the bottom bracket 2 . The first elongated part 10 is also pivotally connected to the second elongated part 11 by means of a hinge element 12 . The second elongate member 11 is pivotally connected to the second coupling housing 9 at the other end. The transverse link 6 can be as image 3 The pivoting is shown by means of two pivot shafts 13 , 14 on the hinge element 12 .

Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for supporting a child. The invention also relates to a pushchair, a high chair and a child's bed provided with such a device. According to the invention, a relative rotation movement of the undercarriage and upper carriage of the device is converted by means of a transmission into a movement collapsing the undercarriage. The device can hereby also be reduced in size in a transverse direction.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a device for supporting a child. The invention also relates to strollers, high chairs and cots provided with such a device. Background technique [0002] A wide variety of devices for supporting children are known. An example of a device is a stroller. In many situations, a stroller is necessary or desirable in order to carry a child, and therefore, the stroller must be able to be easily carried. To meet this need, known strollers are in a collapsible form. By operating the locking mechanism, the stroller is brought into an unstable state, after which the stroller can be collapsed. The degree to which the stroller can be folded determines how much space is required (eg in a car) to carry the stroller. Therefore, the size of the folded stroller remains an issue. [0003] A known technique commonly used in known strollers utilizes a cross to make the stroller collapsible. This principle is based on the fact that th...
