Abstract

The display panel and the display device comprise a display unit used for displaying, discoloring units and a color control unit, wherein the display unit comprises a plurality of pixel units; the discoloring units correspond to the pixel units of the display unit in position and are prepared by electrochromic materials; the color control unit is used for controlling color changes of the discoloring units. According to the display panel and the display device, the novel discoloring units are adopted, and selective switching between the colored transparent displaying and the black-and-white transparent displaying of the display panel and the display device is achieved.
