Abstract

A user interface of a data warehouse comprises an interface engine which is configured to present data in the format of a waterfall chart. The interface engine is configured to display the waterfall chart based on the data received from the data warehouse and user input such as the color scheme and the column order. In the waterfall chart, the data can be presented in the form of a vertical or horizontal bar grown along different directions from different zero positions and do not presented in the form of a bar along the unified direction from the same zero position such as the axis original point. The interface engine can present the data of the waterfall chart by a color technology and or other technologies. An embodiment can be particularly suitable for presentation of certain types of service information such as data related to the margin decomposition analysis.
