Abstract

The invention discloses a bit synchronization method of a GPS (Global Position System) satellite navigation signal. The method comprises the following steps: calculating the carrier-to-noise ratio of the received satellite navigation signal, determining the number of incoherence times and acquiring twenty groups of continuous data at a time interval of 1ms; then generating frequency compensations different in frequency stepping, performing frequency compensation on each group of data, and solving the envelope of a compensated signal to find out a maximum value in each group of data; repeating the operations according to the number of incoherence times; finally judging the location of the maximum value at twenty possible boundaries so as to determine the location of a true bit boundary. By virtue of the method, big synchronization still can be performed correctly when a frequency error occurs in a tracking loop of a receiver, the reliability of big synchronization is guaranteed and the method has high commercial value.
