Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for better utilization of available resources (band) when sending signals over wireless networks like mobile phone systems. By performing concurrently processing both types of carriers during transmission, it eliminates any issues with one type being weaker than another due to its own strength. Additionally, the use of double carriers instead of single ones further enhances network performance while reducing costs compared to traditional methods. Overall, these technologies improve overall efficiency and reduce operational expenses associated with communications between devices across various geographic areas.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patent text is how to improve the data transmission capability of active antennas without increasing the bandwidth used by the radio frequency port.

Embodiment Construction

[0046] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0047] image 3 It is a schematic diagram of the implementation flow of the IQ data processing method of a remote radio unit RRU of the present invention, such as image 3 As shown, the method includes the following steps:

[0048] Step 301: After the RRU receives the IQ data sent by the baseband processing unit BBU through the dual carrier, it performs parallel processing on the IQ data of the dual carrier;

[0049] Here, the dual carriers used by the BBU to send the IQ data are dual carriers of the same frequency.

[0050] Specifically, when the same-frequency dual carriers are carrier one and carrier two, the parallel processing of the IQ data of the dual carriers includes:

[0051] Performing filtering and digital up conversion (DUC, Digital Up Converter) processing on the IQ data of the first carrier and the IQ data of the sec...

Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for processing IQ data of radio-frequency remote unit (RRU), the method comprising: after receiving IQ data sent by a baseband processing unit (BBU) via a dual carrier, the RRU conducts parallel processing on IQ data on the dual carrier, modulates the processed dual carrier into a radio-frequency signal and outputs the signal to an antenna terminal. The present invention discloses an IQ data processing system and a radio-frequency remote unit at the same time. The technical solution of the present invention enhances the capability of an active antenna for transmitting data and reduces cost.
