Abstract

Except environment-friendly and degradable concepts, no inventions of pointedly preparing infant garments, by utilizing other excellent performances of polylactic acid such as the characteristics of biocompatibility, easy processing, easy cleaning and the like, are reported. The infant garment provided by the invention is characterized in that pure polylactic acid or modified polylactic acid fibers are adopted in the aspect of raw material selection, and the infant garment is produced by independent spinning or blending with other textile fibers and then by adopting a conventional manufacturing process. The garment prepared from polylactic acid fibers can be well compatible with infant skin, has obvious advantages compared with an artificial chemical fiber garments, and is easier to clean and wash than natural garment materials. In view of that the body growth of infants is quicker, the update frequency of garments is high and the abandoning period is shorter than that of adult clothes, degradable and pollution-free raw materials are adopted, and the infant garment is also more environment-friendly.
