The route inquiry method includes that a terminal acquires a two-dimensional code on a traffic station board, wherein the two-dimensional code is used for marking the traffic station board information; the analyzed two-dimensional code information is sent to a network side server; the server finds the corresponding traffic route information and current station information according to the two-dimensional code information, wherein the current station is the station with the traffic station board; the terminal draws a traveling route according to the traffic route information and current station information found by the server and the destination information input by a traveler.
