The method comprises the following steps: setting position coordinates of pixel points on a picture; presetting a point-reading region in the picture; generating a position coordinate set corresponding to the point-reading region; presetting a content document and associating the position coordinate set to the content document; editing the position coordinate set and the content document corresponding to the picture; establishing an association list between the picture and the position coordinate set and the content document; and storing the picture as well as the position coordinate set, the content document and the association list which correspond to the picture. The point-reading method and the point-reading system can be used for achieving dynamic editing, dynamic storage and dynamic playing or displaying.
