For example, in some embodiments data is transmitted over a three-phase power system via switching of a transformer (20, 120) electrically coupled to the three-phase power system. Optionally, a single transformer (20, 120) may be utilized to transmit data to at least on apparatus coupled to a first phase line of a three-phase power system and to at least one apparatus coupled to a second phase line of the three-phase power system.
