Problems solved by technology

Among them, alosetron can improve about 50% of the clinical symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, but about 30-35% of patients will suffer from serious side effects such as constipation or ischemic colitis (ischemia colitis)
5-HT 4 Receptor agonist-tegaserod has limited therapeutic effect on IBS, and because it will increase the risk of heart disease in IBS patients, it was off the market in 2007 after being ruled by the US Food and Drug Administration

Embodiment 1

[0093] Embodiment 1 prepares the phylloxera extract

[0094] 1.1 Crude Water Extract

[0095] A crude extract was obtained by mixing dried and chopped fruit of Yizhiren (purchased from Hainan, China) with reverse osmotic (RO) water at a ratio of 1:10, and then boiling and refluxing for 1 hour. Filter the crude extract with a 350-mesh filter to filter out the part of the nutmeg. The filtrate was retained, and the part of Yizhiren was subjected to another water extraction in the same manner, and the two extraction filtrates were combined to obtain a crude water extract.

[0096] 1.1.1 Crude Water Extract Powders (PDC-2014)

[0097] The crude aqueous extract described in Example 1.1 was concentrated by freeze-drying to obtain crude aqueous extract powder (PDC-2014).

[0098] 1.1.1.1 Water Extract Paste (PDC-2363)

[0099] After further adding 95% (volume %) ethanol to the crude water-extraction powder (PDC-2014) and filtering (No. 2 filter paper), the filtrate was concentrate...

Embodiment 2

[0131] Embodiment 2 prepares cardamom extract

[0132] 2.1 Water Extract (PDC-2471)

[0133] The water extract of cardamom was prepared according to the similar steps described in Example 1.1, 1.1.1 and 1.1.1.1.

[0134] 2.2 Ethanol extract (PDC-2472)

[0135] The crude ethanol extract of cardamom was prepared according to the similar steps described in Examples 1.2, 1.2.1 and 1.2.1.1.

Embodiment 3

[0136] Embodiment 3 prepares red cardamom extract

[0137] 3.1 Crude water extract

[0138] A crude aqueous extract of cardamom was prepared following a procedure similar to that described in Example 1.1.

[0139] 3.1.1 Crude water extraction powder (PDC-2147)

[0140] The crude aqueous extract described in Example 3.1 was concentrated under reduced pressure until an aqueous extract powder was obtained.

[0141] 3.1.2 Water Extract (PDC-1885)

[0142] 95% (volume %) ethanol was added to the crude aqueous extract described in Example 3.1 at a volume ratio of 1:1 and a precipitate formed. The mixture was then centrifuged at 10,000 rpm for 5 minutes to remove the precipitate. The supernatant was collected and centrifuged further under reduced pressure until the solvent was largely removed. The residue was freeze-dried to obtain an aqueous extract.

[0143] 3.1.3 Water Extract (PDC-2469)

[0144] Add 95% (volume %) ethanol (1 gram of powder in 30 ml of ethanol) to the crude...

Abstract

Disclosed herein is the use of an extract from Alpinia spp. for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The extract is prepared by extracting fresh and / or dried fruits of Alpinia spp. plant with a solvent such as a supercritical fluid, water, 10-95% (v / v) ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate or n-hexane, to obtain an extract suitable for the preparation of IBS medicaments. In some embodiments, active compounds with anti-abnormal defecation activity and / or analgesia effect are isolated from the water extract of Alpinia spp.; these compounds are therefore potential lead compounds for use as medicaments for treating IBS.

Description

technical field [0001] The content of the present invention is related to the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, more specifically, the present invention is related to the use of Alpinia plant extracts to manufacture a medicine for treating irritable bowel disease. Background technique [0002] Irritable bowel syndrome (Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS) is a common functional gastrointestinal disease, which cannot be diagnosed by abnormal physiological values. Irritable bowel disorder is the result of a difference in the amount of bowel motor response combined with increased sensitivity to stimuli or spontaneous contractions. Therefore, irritable bowel syndrome is also known as spastic bowl syndrome, mucous bowl syndrome, or nervous bowl syndrome; however, irritable bowel syndrome and spastic colitis ( spastic colitis) or ulcerative colitis (eg, Crohn's disease) are not the same disease. Despite a considerable understanding of the underlying neuroenteric mechanisms and of...
