Abstract

The invention discloses a double-handle control electric wheelchair which comprises a chair frame equipped with a handrail part and a push-pull handle part, a pair of steering wheels disposed on the front side of the bottom part of the chair frame, a pair of power wheels disposed on the rear side of the bottom part of the chair frame, a control device disposed on the chair frame, a pair of drive motors which are disposed on the chair frame and connected with the control device to respectively drive rotation of the pair of power wheels, an energy storage device disposed on the chair frame and connected to the control device and a first control handle which is disposed on the handrail part of the chair frame and connected with the control device to control motions of the electric wheelchair as well as a second control handle which is disposed on the push-pull handle part of the chair frame and connected with the control device to control motions of the electric wheelchair. The motions of the electric wheelchair are operated by the second control handle, so that force applied by nursing staffs to push and pull the electric wheelchair is effectively saved, and nursing strength of the nursing staffs is reduced.
