The invention relates to quality evaluation of collected signals.The quality evaluation method of heart sound signals is provided and comprises following steps: firstly, collecting heart sound signals and intercepting signal segments used for evaluation by a system; secondly, performing five-layer wavelet decomposition of signal segments based on an SYM6 wavelet function and calculating the approximation coefficient in the fifth-layer and five-layer detail coefficients by the system; then, filtering soft threshold of the approximation coefficient in the fifth-layer and five-layer detail coefficients by the system; next, making energy calculations of the approximation coefficient in the fifth-layer and five-layer detail coefficients after soft threshold is filtered by the system in order to obtain energy of coefficients in all layers; and finally, calculating a signal quality factor by the system according to capabilities of coefficients in all layers.The system is also used for grade separation of heart sound signals according to the signal quality factor. The higher grade, the better heart sound quality is obtained. A user can conveniently know the quality of heart sound signals only by grade number such that the user is reminded to immediately adjust the posture, collect positions and environment for obtaining better heart sound signals.The quality evaluation method of heart sound signals is adapted to evaluation of heart sound signals.
