The hole expanding method disclosed by the invention comprises the following concrete steps of arranging an upper bracket of a mandrel supporter in a lower bracket of the mandrel supporter; inserting the core shaft into a hole of a cylindrical blank and erecting the core shaft on the upper bracket of the mandrel supporter; performing core shaft hole expanding; inserting a core shaft rigidity reinforcing plate into a narrow rectangular groove of the upper bracket of the mandrel supporter when the inner diameter of the cylindrical forge piece blank is expanded enough to accommodate the diameter of the core shaft and a mandrel supporter rigidity reinforcing plate; and still performing the core shaft hole-expanding process until the cylindrical forge piece has the size of a finished product.
