Problems solved by technology

Eucalyptus belongs to cross-pollination, and its sexually reproduced offspring are often severely separated, and it is difficult to retain excellent traits. Therefore, cutting nurseries are often used for breeding. However, ordinary field soil has poor water retention and aeration performance, which is not conducive to the growth of seedling root systems, and the weight of field soil is relatively high. Large, labor-intensive transportation, more foreign countries use light substrates for eucalyptus cutting propagation, such as light substrates with ceramsite, perlite, rock wool, etc. as the main components, and light substrates with other formulas. Various formulations have their own advantages, but there are still many disadvantages

Abstract

The invention relates to a container nursery light substrate for eucalyptus. The substrate comprises turf, coco coir, bagasse, rice husks, perlite and a ternary fertilizer. The preparation method comprises the steps of: weighing the components by weight; separately placing crushed large components in a stirrer to be uniformly stirred; then flattening a film mulch for fermentation; and finally placing the components in a seeding tray to be thoroughly watered and disinfected to prepare the substrate. During use, 10-15 cm cutting scions are selected, and are cut in the seedling tray after being disinfected. After a period time of breeding, parameters such as survival rate, fresh treetop growth, height of seedlings and root system are better than those of a conventional light substrate. Moreover, the substrate is moderate in cost and is the light substrate which is high in survival rate, good in growth vigor in the later stage and moderate in using cost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of eucalyptus cutting seedling cultivation, in particular to a light substrate for eucalyptus container seedling cultivation and a preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] Eucalyptus, also known as Eucalyptus, is an evergreen tree belonging to the family Myrtaceae and the genus Eucalyptus. It is small and has little transpiration. It is a water-saving tree species that can grow in acidic and alkaline soils. It grows well in places with deep soil layers, good transportation and drainage. Larg...
