Problems solved by technology

[0013] The Random strategy is more general, and it is relatively simple to implement. It can balance the load to a certain extent and avoid network congestion. However, this strategy is random forwarding on multiple paths, without considering the characteristics of ICN itself, and has no impact on the future of the network. Predicting the possible state can easily lead to unbalanced load of each link and cannot be improved
[0014] The Fib-weight strategy takes the number of pending interest packets associated with each exit as a consideration. The larger the number of pending interest packets, the more data packets will be returned in the future. However, in multi-path forwarding, this strategy is only for forwarding, without considering the cache situation of the network, or unable to perceive the cache situation of neighbors, such as figure 2 , if R1 wants to forward a request with the prefix " / a" at this time, and the exit selected according to the weight is f2, but R2 caches the content corresponding to the prefix " / a" due to previous historical requests, and R3 No, so R3 can only continue to forward to the server according to its own forwarding strategy, but cannot use the cache on R2
This also reduces the utilization of network resources and also reduces the user experience.

Abstract

The invention provides a multipath forwarding method of a history record based information centric network, which comprises the following steps: after a first ICN (Information Centric Network) node receives an interest packet sent by a second ICN node, judging whether a preset PIT table has a name of the interest packet; if the preset PIT table does not have the name of the interest packet, judging whether a preset HRL table has the name of the interest packet; and if the preset HRL table has the name of the interest packet, forwarding the interest packet from a destination port to a third ICN node, and updating the preset PIT table with the name of the interest packet and a receiving port receiving the interest port; the destination port is the receiving port which is stored in the HRL table and is corresponding to the name of the interest packet; and each of the PIT table and the HRL table comprises the name of the interest packet or a data packet, the receiving port of the interest packet or the data packet, the receiving time and the survival time of the record. According to the multipath forwarding method disclosed by the invention, a subsequent forwarding request is guided by pre-judging the content buffered by a neighbor node, the buffer utilization rate is improved; and the invention further provides a forwarding system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a multi-path forwarding method and system of an information center network based on historical records. Background technique [0002] The Internet based on the TCIP / IP architecture has experienced decades of development, and it is relatively stable while constantly adapting to new technologies emerging from the upper and lower layers. However, the emergence of various new applications in turn drives the Internet towards an information-centric direction, implying a new communication model based on information delivery, caching, and real-time processing, such as differentiated web services, cloud computing, social network etc. Most of the existing content delivery solutions are overlaid on top of the IP protocol, such as the existing CDNs structure, but it has been debated due to its inefficiency in service assurance and resource utilization. However, unlike the existing point-to-point communication, the academic community has ...
